Climate change and global warming concerns, coupled with high oil prices, are driving increasing renewable energy legislation, incentives and commercialization. One of the most efficient of renewable energies is Ground source heat pumps (GSHPs) which are known as direct use of geothermal energy. GSHPs use the constant temperature of the earth as the exchange medium instead of the outside air temperature. The GSHPs use advantage of this property by exchanging heat with the earth through a ground heat exchanger. The GSHPs can be built anywhere a land exists. The aim of this project is to study the potential of geothermal energy in Boushehr and model a ground source heat pump pilot and test it to distinguish the efficiency of this kind of energy in cooling- heating systems./p>
